DescriptionConcerning the right of the lord of the manor of Malden [in Surrey] to 'Pistill'' in 'Sparwfeld'. The evidence in the lord's favour is on one side and the objections ('adversary part') on the other. Detailed evidence from charters, manorial court rolls and records of the king's courts. The evidence dates from the reign of Henry III to the reign of Henry IV. No date. [Date: handwriting. One of the objections states that there are men still living who remember a case of trespass from the time of Henry IV.]
