A payment of 12d in the vill ('villa') of Middleton [in Essex], payable by Samuel de Campo for 2 acres of land which he holds of William in the said vill. William also quitclaims for Samuel's homage and whatever can fall to him in any way at any time by the payment. The grant is made for his soul and the souls of his ancestors. No date.
