DescriptionFrom: Jeremiah, I, prior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory; the convent of of Canterbury Cathedral Priory

Addressed to Ralph the monk and the court baron ('hallimotum') of Bocking. The priory has granted its land of Mersea [in Essex] to Algar the clerk, its faithful servant. For an annual payment of 60s, payable at the terms established for paying rents in the vill ('villa'). For this Algar has also paid 100s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: Prior Jeremiah's dates.]
