| Description | From: Richard Oxenden', son and heir of John Oxenden late of Wingham parish To: John Grey of Canterbury, kinsman ('consanguineus') of Richard Oxenden By his charter of feoffment dated 28 Jun 1434 at Sarre, Robert Baker of St Nicholas at Wade parish in the Isle of Thanet granted 16 acres of pasture and marsh in the Isle of Thanet, lying with the marsh of the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory to south, the marsh of the heirs of John Septvans and the marsh of Henry Pocok to west, the marsh of the heirs of William Bengekyn' to east and the common way to north, to John Oxenden', Richard's father, and Thomas Oxenden, Richard's uncle. John Oxenden outlived Thomas, became seised of the land and died seised of it. After John Oxenden's death, the land descended to Richard as his son and heir. Richard grants the lands to John Grey.
