William Prowde, together with William Hoskyn' and Nicholas Gille, now deceased, had these lands of the gift of John Grey, deceased, as more fully appears in John's charter. John Grey had these lands of the gift of Richard Oxenden', son and heir of John Oxenden, late of Wingham, as is contained in Richard's charter, dated at Sarre, 1 Jan 1464. For a term of 99 years.
