The other piece containing 2 acres and lying with the land of John Spite and Thomas de Boctone to south-east, the land of Stephen Mellere and Thomas atte Caudle to north-west, the highway which leads from the bridge of Old Romney to 'Aghneslond'' to south-east (sic) and the land of Thomas atte Caudle to south-west. For this Bertram has paid £60 as a gersum fine. Made and recorded in the presence of trustworthy men ('viri fidedigni').
