| Description | 'Dominus' Henry Willyam alias asshe, minor canon of [St Paul's Cathedral], London, acknowledged before Mgr John Coumbe, advocate of the consistory court of London, that the late Robert Lytle, citizen of London, gave him his brew-house tenement ('tenementum suum bracinium') in St Ethelburga (Bishopsgate) parish and enfeoffed him and subsequently delievered seisin to him by his attorney Hugh Schert. Henry was enfeoffed and given seisin on condition that he sold the lands for a better price in accordance with the order of John Bryan and Walter Keek, citizens of London, so that Robert Litle's will, dated 11 Sep 1397 and proved by the commissary general of Canterbury, could be carried out ('proficiscor') when the money from the sale was received. Dated in Mgr John's house in St Michael Cornhill ('ad Bladum') parish his presence and the presence of his son, John, notary public.
