Sense unclear.] Relating to a case between John [Surynden], prior of Leeds Priory and Leeds Priory convent and the abbot and convent of Lesnes concerning the sequestation of the tithes of Stockbury church, especially in a place called 'la dane', and the witholding of an annual pension of 3s 4d, which is unpaid to the sum of over £13. Leeds Priory has appropriated Stockbury church. The cause seems originally to have been heard in the court of Archbishop Henry [Chichele] by William Byconill', the archbishop's auditor of causes. Dated 1444, rest of date lost.
