Bartholomew de septem fontibus and Alice his wife through their attorney seek a messuage, a mill, ..., 24 acres of land, 4 acres of meadow and 2 acres of wood in Marden against the prior of Leeds Priory. They claim that the prior had no right to enter the lands after Hamo de Crevequer disseised Alice. The prior denies that Hamo disseised Alice and says that his right to enter the lands is by a feoffment of Hamo and not by disseisin. The parties submitted to a jury. The proceedings continued at Westminster on 17 Apr 1306. Bartholomew, Alice and the prior appeared, but then Bartholomew and Alice left and were in contempt. No further date for appearance was assigned to the prior andBartholomew, Alice and their pledges were in mercy.
