Payable as specified for 2½ acres of land lying with the king's highway leading from Sandwich to Folkestone to east and principally on ('capitaliter super') the land of Craythorne? ('Crawethorn') [in Tilmanstone?] to north. For an annual payment of ½d for a quit-rent ('forgabulum'), payable as specified, reserving the king's service. For this John has also paid 8s 6d as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Langdon charters.]
