John and Henry bind 2 acres of their land in the vill ('villa') of Langdon ('langedon''), 1½ acres lying with the priory's land to south, the land of Ralph son of Nicholas to north, the common drove-way ('chacium') to east and the land of Osbert de heethorn' (Eythorne?) to west and ½ an acre lying with the embankment ('fossatum') of the priory's garden to south, in exchange for a payment of 2 seams of wheat and 3 seams of barley, which they have received of Hamo de Boclond', monk, on behalf of the priory, repayable on 8 Sep 1254. If John and Henry default on the payment, the lands may remain to the priory for a payment of 33s, which it will pay John and Henry from the debt they owe to it, and a payment of 1 apple, payable as specified in the priory's court in the same vill. In the mean time, the priory will plough and sow the land and carry away the fruits. Dated 1253, no month.
