Alan's name and other details supplied from registered version.] The dispute between the priory and John of Loose and his brothers about the lands they should hold in the holding ('tenementum') of [East] Farleigh has been settled. John and his brothers should hold the lands which they held on 19 Apr 1180 (the day and year when the priory entered its choir after the burning of the cathedral) by right of inheritance, and should pay another ½ mark a year in addition to the 15s they used to pay, payable as specified. Details of the lands, in Loose, Linton and East Farleigh, including tenants' names and some field names, given. Details of labour services to be performed by John and his brothers, including leading the pigs from [East] Farleigh to Hollingbourne to be killed, and payments of hens and eggs also given. No date.
