| Description | Party: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory Party: Henry Le Calyere, son of Andrew son of Jordan montemor; Simon atte Children; Godeleva, wife of Simon atte Children
The priory had taken all the lands and tenements of which Richard Mountemor, Henry and Godeleva's uncle, died seised in the vill ('villa') of Loose into its hands, claiming the lands because Richard had held the lands of it and had died a bastard without an heir. The priory has returned seisin of the lands to Henry, Simon and Godeleva and granted that they should hold them of it and perform all the services which Richard performed. For this Henry, Simon and Godeleva have granted the priory an annual payment of 6s 8d free rent ('liber redditus'), together with the relief, escheats and all other things belonging to the lands in increase ('incrementum') of the services Richard used to perform for them. Given at Canterbury.
