To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory

A piece of land containing 5 virgates in the parish of Loose, lying in a field called 'le Breche' between the priory's wood and the king's highway which leads from 'Steyrebreg'' to Maidstone. For an annual payment of 4½d to the lords of the fee, payable as specified, and an annual payment to Thomas of a rose for a quit-rent ('forisgabulum'), payable as specified at the priory's manor of Loose. For this the priory has also paid 30s as a gersum fine. Dated 55HenIII, no month.
