The archbishop and the priory have agreed that [Hugh of Avalon], bishop of Lincoln, [Eustace], bishop of Ely and [Samson], abbot of Bury St Edmunds Abbey, papal judges delegate, or Mgr Roger [de Rolveston], dean of Lincoln, if the bishop of Lincoln cannot be present, shall arbitrate on certain disputes between them concerning the building of a chapel at Lambeth [Surrey], the churches of Monkton, Eastry, Meopham and Eynsford [all in Kent], the gifts? ('exenium') of certain of the priory's manors, and disputed marshes, fisheries and moors. The archbishop and the priory promise to abide by the arbitrators' decision. No date.
