Addressed to all his men of London and the parish of St Vedast, both French and English. William of Northolt ('Norhalla'), the archbishop's clerk, has, with the archbishop's permission and advice, bought the land of Robert de Bosco in the parish of St Vedast [Foster Lane, London] for a payment of 12 marks and has also given Robert 20s for the houses on the land. Reserving an annual payment of 6s to the church of Canterbury, of whose fee the land is. The money having been accepted, Robert quitclaimed to William for the land in the archbishop's presence and in the hearing of many. The archbishop confirms the grant. No date.
