Lying with the stables and garden belonging to the great messuage late in the tenure of William Ermested, clerk, Sir Christopher Wray, knight, Lord Chief Justice of England and [Lancelot] Andrewes, bishop of Ely, built over the great gate leading to the stables, to west, Creed Lane to east, the tenements formerly belonging to ... College ... to north and the turn gate called 'Blackfryers gate' to south. For a term of 21 years, for an annual payment of 40s and 2 capons or 5s, payable as specified. Conditions on repairs. Right of re-entry if payment in arrears or repairs not carried out. William has made a bond in £40 to observe the terms of the lease.
