They nominate Mgr Edward Lupton, graduate in theology, whom the president and fellows of [Whittington] College have elected to the mastership there, to the church of St Michael Paternoster Royal ('Sancti Michaelis in Riola'), London. The benefice is vacant by the death of Mgr Nicholas Goode, last master of the College. The wardens ask the priory to present Edward to Thomas [Bourchier], cardinal-priest of St Ciriac in Thermis, archbishop of Canterbury and papal legate.
