| Description | From: Elmer, prior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory; the convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
Addressed to the sheriff and all barons of London, French and English. The priory has granted Henry of Orpington ('orpintune'), its man, the land which Henry son of Jocelyn ('goslenus') held of it in London. He shall acquit the land of soke ('socna') and shall build houses on it. If the houses burn down, he shall rebuild them. For an annual payment of 12d, payable as specified. No date.
