The gift which William Gratiani made to the priory of the payment he and Alexander held of Solomon, Alfred ('Aluredus') and Warren, sons of John of Well [in Ickham], as their charters, which the priory has, bear witness. The payment has ceased ('cessit') on William's part and Alexander has no right to it. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Ickham charters.]
