For a moiety of 2 acres of land in 'Northgore', of which 1 acre, lying between the messuage of William son of Henry and the barton which was of John of Well [in Ickham], was leased by William, Isabel's father, to Isabel, daughter of Archard the parmenter ('parmentarius'), for a term of 24 years, and the other acre, lying with the encroachment ('purprisium') of Alfred ('Aluredus') of Gore to east and the land which was of Henry de Hoke to west, was leased by the same William to Archard for a term of 24 years. Gervase and Isabel also grant the priory 2 acres of land which lie separately, both lying with the land the priory bought of Alfred of Gore ('Aluredus de gare') [to east?] and Adam de Richemund's land to west, a fourth part of 1 acre lying below the wood the priory bought of Gervase and Isabel and Nicholas of Ileden ('yldinge'), ½ an acre and ½ a virgate, namely the portion which they hold of Simon son of Jordan of Gore, lying with the way which goes from Gore to 'Hoke' to north, a fourth part of 1 acre, lying with the same way to south, which is of the holding ('tenementum') of John of Well, an annual payment of 3d, payable for parcel of the same land which Gervase and Isabel granted to Richard the weaver ('textor') to increase ('in augmentum') his messuage, another payment of 3d of their free rent which Richard the weaver owes them from his own messuage, and a moiety of a small messuage lying between Archard's messuage and the messuage of William son of Henry. For an annual payment of 1 rose as a quit-rent ('forgabulum'), payable as specified in the priory's treasury at Canterbury. For this the priory has also paid 50s as a gersum fine. No date.
