An annual payment of 5s 6d of their free rent ('liber redditus') in Ickham ('yecham'), payable by William Latsawe, Thomas son of John of Cherville ('Cherlevelde'), Solomon poddere and Etard of Seaton ('Setene'). Payable as specified for 1 acre of land lying with the land of Gilbert son of Roger where he lives ('ubi ipse manet') to west, the demesne land of the court of Ickham to east, the king's highway to south and the land of Gilbert the clerk and Thomas his brother to north, 3 virgates of land lying with Solomon's land which he holds of Roger of Lee [in Ickham] to west, the land of Henry son of Eynulf to east, the king's highway to south and the land of Roger of Lee [in Ickham] to north, and 3 virgates of land lying with Etard's land which he holds of Roger of Lee [in Ickham] to south, the land of Thomas blest to north, Etard's land which he holds of the court of Ickham to west, and the land of the heirs of John de la more to east. For an annual payment of 2d, payable as specified by Etard. They charge all their lands, payments and other possessions of their demesne in Ickham with the payment. For this the priory has also paid 3½ marks as a gersum fine. Made and recorded at the priory's capital ('capitalis') court at Canterbury. Dated 1232, no month.
