Description | From: William Gratiani, chaplain ('capellanus') To: the convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
A payment of 26s 5d and 27 hens free rent which he held of Solomon, Alfred ('Aluredus') and Warren, sons of John of Well [in Ickham], and a payment of 14d of free rent which he held of John Chich [all presumably in Ickham]. The payments are to be held according to conditions specified in the charters he has received from these men, which charters he has delivered to the priory. The grant is made for his soul and for the love of God. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Ickham charters.]
