4 acres of land of Lee [in Ickham] which the priory has there of the gift of William Gratiani and 2½ acres of John's own land, namely a third part of the 'meletegha' of Seaton ('sethene') which was of Theobald his father, in exchange for 2½ acres of the other 'meletegha' of Lee [in Ickham] which was of the same Theobald, so that the 2 acres may lie in the 'meletegha' of Seaton and ½ an acre of land may lie in the 'meletegha' of Lee, next to the land which the priory bought of Laurence, John's brother, in the two 'meletegha' of Seaton and Lee. For annual payments of 3¾d and 2¼d, payable as specified in the priory's treasury at Canterbury. For this the priory has paid 8 marks as a gersum fine. No date.
