The prior may receive an annual pension of 13 marks from Tintern Abbey, alias 'de voto' [County Wexford, Ireland], for life, through his officers, ministers, attorneys and servants in Ireland and have it remitted to England, any statutes, ordinances or proclamations against absentees from Ireland notwithstanding. Sent patent. By privy seal writ. The clerk is Mapilton'. [Calendared version of Chancery enrolment date 15 Jan.] Initial decorated with stylized foliage. Given at Westminster [Middlesex].
