| Description | Party: John of St John, bishop of Ferns; the chapter of Ferns Cathedral Party: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
There has been a dispute between the bishop and chapter and the priory concerning the churches of Bannow ('Banewa'), Kilcowan ('Kylcogan'), Kilmore ('Kylmor'), Kilturk ('Kenturc') and 'Tagmagre' [all in County Wexford, Ireland] and their possessions, which are claimed by the bishop and chapter, and concerning the manor of Fethard ('Fythered'), which the bishop claims. An agreement has been reached in the presence of L[uke], archbishop of Dublin, the bishop and chapter and Brother William Ferbras, monk, the priory's proctor. The priory quitclaims to the bishop and chapter for the manor of Fethard and the bishop and chapter grant the churches of Bannow, Kilcowan, Kilmore, Kilturk and 'Tagmagre' and their possessions to the priory. Reserving diocesan law and jurisdiction. Priory's part of indenture. The archbishop of Dublin has sealed both parts of the indenture as a safeguard. No date. [Date: date of related grant.]
