| Description | From: William, abbot of Tintern Abbey, Ireland [County Wexford] To: the prior and chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
The priory has granted the abbot and convent all its possessions in Ireland for a payment of 625 marks, which the abbey has paid, and an annual payment of 10 marks, payable in the church of Bath Abbey ('Battonia'). At the abbey's request, the priory has issued letters patent about the payment of 625 marks for the abbey's security.
