The vill of Fethard ('villa nostra de Fythard'') [County Wexford, Ireland]. For an annual payment of 4 marks, payable as specified. Richard ought to build a castle for the defence of the land. The priory retains [the church] of the vill with the chapels and all ecclesiastical benefices of the vill and half of the rabbits? ('cuninorum'?) in the vill. The priory also retains a suitable place for its court on the north side of the church, 60 acres of land for its table ('mensa'), 20 acres to the north of the church on its demesne of 'machenan'?, another 20 acres to the west of the church in 'leligowe''? and another 20 acres, free right of multure ('molitura'), wood for its house, pasture for beasts of all kinds and free passage for itself and its men. Richard promised to observe the grant, by swearing an oath in the priory's chapter house and making homage to it as his heirs should do. No date.
