| Description | From: the abbot and convent of Tintern Abbey, Ireland ('de voto') [County Wexford] To: the prior and chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
The priory has granted the abbey all its property in of Ferns diocese. The abbey acknowledges that it has no rights in the land of 'Thamagre' in Ireland which the priory has given to Geoffrey de sancto Johanne. Reserving to the abbey the church of 'Thamagre', the tithes and an annual payment of 40s free rent from the land of 'Thamagre', reliefs, wardships ('guardis' in abl) and other things belonging to the estate ('fundus') according to the law and custom of Ireland. The abbey promises that it will not bring a case ('moveo questio') about the lands in civil or ecclesiastical courts or elsewhere. The priory has granted the abbey all its lands and possessions in Ireland and all its churches in Ferns diocese which it had of the gift of Hervey de monte mauricii. The abbey will not take any legal action against the priory in the future, unless its lands or possessions are unjustly detained. The priory shall not incur any cost in an action of this kind.
