General address. Recites a charter of Henry II, addressed to the archbishop of York and his justices, barons, sheriffs, servants and subjects of Yorkshire, French and English. The king has granted a moiety of the manor of Kilham ('Killum') [Yorkshire] to Rouen Cathedral in perpetual alms for the food ('victum') of the canons. The canons are to hold it as Henry [I], the king's ancestor, held it in demesne. Witnesses: Theobald, archbishop of Canterbury; Nigel, bishop of Ely; Jocelin [de Bohun], bishop of Salisbury; R[obert], bishop of Exeter; Reginald earl of Cornwall; Earl Geoffrey de Mandeville ('magnavill''); Man[asseh] Bis[et], steward ('dapifer'); Richard de Canvill'; William son of John.
