For 2½ acres of wood in Monks Eleigh ('Illegh' monachorum'), lying with the priory's wood called 'manhey' to east, the way which leads from Milden ('meldinge') to Kersey to west and the land of Richard de whatfeld', knight, called 'wodecroft' to north. For this 'Dominus' William of Charing ('Cerring''), warden ('custos') of the manor of Monks Eleigh, has paid 10s on behalf of the priory.
