Endorsed with a note that the witnesses were also present at the seisin and in their presence it was stated that John Vyncent ought to pay an annual payment of 4d to the tenement with 3 houses on it for the whole of his tenement and garden lying next to the said tenement. It was also stated that the tenement with 3 houses on it is held from ancient time ('de antiquo') of William atte Berton' as part of his manor of 'le Berton' for an annual payment of 12d, payable as specified, and now extinguished in his hand. |
