2 acres and 1 perch of land in 'Burgham', which Richard held of William son of Thomas of 'Northinton'', of which 3½ virgates lie with land of the monks of Canterbury Cathedral Priory in Adisham ('edesham') to east, the land of the manor of 'Cnoldane' to west, Roger's land which he bought of Theobald de Burgham to north and the land of John de Burgham, Richard's brother, to south in the field called 'petteghe', and the 3½ vigates of land lie with the monks' land of Adisham to east, the land of the manor of 'Cnoldane' to west, Roger's land which he bought of Theobald to south and the land of John de Burgham, Richard's brother, to north. For an annual payment of 2d, payable as specified upon the same tenement. For this Roger has also paid 10s as a gersum fine.
