1½ acres of land in 'Burgham', which he has of the holding ('tenementum') of John of Well [in Ickham], lying with the land of the monks of Canterbury Cathedral Priory in Adisham ('Edesham') to east, the priory's land of 'Cnoldane' to west, the land of Richard de Burgham to south and the land of John, Richard's brother, to north. For an annual payment of 1d as a quit-rent ('forgabulum'), payable as specified. For this Roger has also paid ½ a mark as a gersum fine.
