| Description | From: Henry II, king of England
Addressed to his sheriff and ministers in Kent. They are to cause the prior and monks of Canterbury Cathedral Priory to take full possession of their land on the hills ('supra montes') of Hollingbourne, as these lands have been determined ('dirationata') by the sworn enquiry of men of Kent. No date. [Dates: after the King's first crossing to Normandy and before the promotion of Thomas Becket as archbishop of Canterbury.
