6½ acres and 1 virgate of land, lying in a field called 'sparefeld' next to the priory's wood called Eggringe ('Adgaringe') in the holding of Godmersham, lying with the land of Stephen sparewe to south and the land of Wymund de la forde to north. Also an annual payment of 8d, payable as specified by Stephen sparewe for land called 'LyuinesLand' lying in the said field and his messuage and a wood called 'sparewode'. Also an annual payment of 4d, payable as specified by the heirs of William Pykot for 2½ acres lying in 'sparewedene'. For an annual payment of a pear as a quit-rent ('forgabulum'). For this the priory has paid 4 marks from the money for celebrating ('facio') the anniversary of Mgr Robert of Ludlow ('Lodelowe'). No date. [Date: Adam de Chillendenne's dates.]
