| Description | From: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory To: Jordan atte vorde of Godmersham
A garden and 32 acres of land in Godmersham, lying at 'la Hoke'. For an annual payment of 3s for all other money payments belonging the priory's treasury at Canterbury and to the manor of Godmersham. Reserving to the priory an annual payment of 22½d and 1 hen, which the other tenants who hold of the holding ('tenementum') of Hoke pay. Also for an annual payment of 7 seams ('summa') of palm-barley ('ordeum palmalis') as specified, payable as specified at the priory's granary ('Granarium') of Godmersham. Jordan charges ('obligo') 10 acres of his land lying at 'Herlonde' in Godmersham with the land of Hamo de Hurst to north, the land of William son of Jordan to south, the tenement of Roger le hod to east and the land of the heirs of William le Coupere to west with these payaments.
