The whole of his land of Greenway ('greneweie') which he held by inheritance ('hereditabiliter') of William of Lower Hardres ('Nitherhardre')and which belongs to him of his paternal inheritance. Hanin and Luke will defend the land against William's court. For an annual payment of 6d, payable as specified. For this Hanin and Luke have also paid 10 marks as a gersum fine. Made and recorded at the court of 'Dominus' William of Lower Hardres. No date. [Date: handwriting.]
