The profits of the lawdays and courts of the manor of Godmersham and all fines and heriots occurring during Thomas's lease of the manor. For an annual payment of 13s 4d. Thomas is to provide estreats of the courts and lawdays and submit details with the accounts as specified. He is to pay 33s 4d a year for the bedel's fees for collecting the rents of the manor as John Marchall, the former farmer, did and is also to pay the steward's fees and provide hospitality whenever the steward comes to hold the court.

Endorsed with description and note (in Latin) that the farmer is entitled to a deduction from the rent of the manor of Godmersham to pay for the bedel in early 16th cent hands.
