The tenement which fell to him after the death of Muriel his mother, daughter of Heriet, and the tenement which fell to him at any time in the holding of Godmersham. For an annual payment of 1d as a quit-rent ('forgabulum'), payable as specified in Godmersham churchyard ('cimiterium'). For this Alexander has also paid 10 marks as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Godmersham charters.]
