An annual payment of 4s 6½d free rent, payable by himself, Richard burgeis, Nicholas storm, Geoffrey of Bilting ('beltinge'), Lambin le gardiner and John bagge. Payable as specified for Benjamin's tenement in Godmersham which he bought of Matthew de Hoke, of which 30 acres is arable, 12 acres wood and 20 acres pasture, lying with the abbot of Battle's tenement to south and west, the wood of 'coliwode' and the land of Jordan de hoke to east and the land of Peter the goldsmith ('aurifaber') to north. Payable as specified in the priory's treasury. For this the priory has also paid 34s as a gersum fine. Dated 40HenIII, no month.
