The priory gives Gilbert licence to grant to grant an annual payment of 2 marks on its demesne at Challock and Hamo licence to grant 2 messuages in Godmersham at 'le Forde' and 1 messuage and 180 acres of land, wood and pasture at Challock to 'Dominus' John de Folkyngham chaplain of the recently established chantry of St Mary in Godmersham church. For an annual payment of 3s 4d, of Hamo's gift and with his consent, payable as specified at the court of Godmersham for the priory's licence. Right of distraint if payment in arrears. Given at Canterbury.
