An annual payment of 8s, 10 hens and 2 cocks at ('apud') Bilting ('beltinge') in the holding of Godmersham, payable by Geoffrey de thorne and his parceners ('partinarii'), Robert Walkelin ('Walkelinus') and Richard his brother, the heirs of Gilbert of Bilting ('beltinge'), the heirs of Gervase of Bilting ('beltinge'), William le vide, Gervase le Wolhere, William de middelfeld, the heirs of William de la cherche and the heirs of William de ecclesia. Payable as specified for land called 'Witelonde', 'hotehamme', 'dunstalle', 'bleccheslonde', 'Webbeslonde', ½ an acre of wood ('nemus') called 'middelwode', a messuage called 'Webbestun', a messuage in Bilting ('beltinge') next to 'Webbeslonde', 'clerthune' next to 'le limwyne', 'roggereshamme' and land called 'cumbe' next to 'merindune'. For an annual payment of 1d as a quit-rent ('forgabulum'), payable as specified in Godmersham churchyard ('cimiterium'). For this Alexander has also paid 5 marks as a gersum fine.
