All his inheritance in the holding ('tenementum') of Godmersham which belongs to him through ('ex parte') Ralph his father. For an annual payment of 1d as a quit-rent ('forgabulum'), payable as specified upon the said tenement. For this Alfred and Cecilia have also paid 40s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting. Alfred had died by 1223, see DCc-ChAnt/G/98.]
