Walter, Lauretta and Alice grant 1 messuage with the orchard ('pomarium') standing upon it, lying at Bilting ('beltinge') in the holding of Godmersham, lying with the king's highway to east, Alexander's land to west, a forestall to north and the curtilage of Geoffrey the clerk of 'Thorn'' to south. Albreda quitclaims for her right in the messuage. For an annual payment of ¼d as a quit-rent ('forisgabulum'), payable as specified. For this Alexander has also paid 16s as a gersum fine. Dated 7EdwI, no month.
