7 acres of land lying in a field called 'Heauette' [in Godmersham], with the land of Gilbert attebroke to north, 'godesmannesuelle' to south, 'uelehamme' and 'broc felde' to west and the land of the said Justina to east. For annual payments of 6d to the lord of the fee, payable as specified in the holding ('tenementum') of 'Heleshell'', and 2d as a quit-rent ('forgabulum') to Henry, payable as specified in Godmersham churchyard ('cymiterium eiusdem', that is St Laurence, on whose day the payment is due). For this Alexander has also paid 15 marks as a gersum fine. Dated 47HenIII, no month.
