1 acre of wood ('nemus') lying in a wood called 'Esthelde' in the holding of Godmersham, with the land of Eudo de hoke to west, the land of Geoffrey of Yallande ('eldelonde') to east, the wood of the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory to north and the wood of the heirs of Jordan the miller ('molendarius') to south. Also an annual payment of 3½d, payable as specified by Hamo de colywode for half an acre of wood in a wood called 'Impetunescroft' in the said holding. For an annual payment of 4d, payable as specified. For this Alexander has also paid 9s 3d as a gersum fine. Dated 44HenIII, no month.
