To: John Grove
3 pieces of land called 'Sprottys' and 'knytiscroft' containing 6 acres in West Farleigh, of which the piece called 'Sprottis' [lies] with the king's highway to east, the land of John Covene to south, the land of William Chapman to north and the land of the lord? prior? [of Canterbury Cathedral Priory?] to west and the 3rd? piece of land called 'knytiscroft' lies in West Farleigh with the king's highway to west, the land of John Covene to south, John Covene's land and the land of the heirs of William Waite to east and the land of Walter prebill to north. The grant is made on condition that John pays 12 marks 6s 8d as specified. Dated the Mon next before the feast ..., the 27th year [of HenVI?, 1448-1449].

To: Thomas atte Nasc' of Teston
A piece of land ... 2½ acres ... of land called 'le Reed' lying in Teston aforesaid at '..whelde', with the common pasture called 'Testanyshoth' to south, west and north and the land called 'le Akyr' and the wood of the prior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory called 'Haymondyswode' to east. Dated Mon before St Edward the king's day, 28 HenVI [1449-1450], at Teston.
