The rectory of Farningham ('Fremyngham'). For a term of 7 years. For an annual payment of £13 6s 8d, 1 quarter of wheat and 1 quarter of palm-barley, payable as specified to William and his successors as almoner. Conditions on repairs and other conditions. Right of distraint and re-entry if payment in arrears. The advowson of the rectory is reserved to the priory. The lease is made with the consent of the prior and convent. Lessees' part of indenture. [According to Greatrex, William Chart, I, died on 17 Oct 1418, 'having spent his last years as a 'stationarius' in St John's chamber in the infirmary'.]
