Recites various citation mandates and certificates. The priory was represented by Thomas de Wynchelse [I], its proctor, Richard appeared in person and Henry failed to appear. Thomas presented a libel on behalf of the priory (recited). Richard denied the charge. Thomas and Richard's replies to the interrogatories also recited. An instrument was exhibited and 5 witnesses produced on behalf of the priory. It was decreed that Henry should be cited to appear at the final settling ('expeditio finalis') of the business 12 Oct. Recites certificate of citation by the rural dean of Shoreham, dated at Meopham, 22 Sep 1300, in response to a citation mandate issued at Boughton [under Blean?] on 17 Sep.
